3 Steps To Make Chocolate lip balm

Chocolate must have been the food of Gods and maybe that’s the reason behind its heavenly taste. If you are one of those people who can’t get enough of chocolate to satisfy your cravings, then what follows is just apt for you. Homemade chocolate lip balm in three easy steps ensures that your lips are protected and your mouth doesn’t complain! Chocolate lip balm combines the yumminess of luscious, dark chocolate with the moisturized texture your lips need. So, get your favorite chocolate and get going!Steps:
1) Get hold of any brand of dark chocolate. Make sure that it has a high cocoa content and is not too sweet to taste. Depending on the quantity of lip balm you need, you can use from just a few shreds of chocolate to a couple of pieces. The smoother and finer the chocolate used for the lip balm, the better the end result will be. Keep in mind that the chocolate is at room temperature, slightly melted and not too hard.
2) Once you have the chocolate with you, all you need is some Vaseline. You will need thrice the amount of pure petroleum jelly as compared to the chocolate. In a small, microwavable bowl, heat up the Vaseline. Melting Vaseline takes time and so do not heat it in one go. Carry out the melting process in intervals, increasing the temperature by 30 seconds each time you microwave it.
3) The final step is to combine the chocolate and hot Vaseline together, make sure you have some hand towels nearby to pick up the warm dishes. Put the pieces of chocolate in the bowl with melted Vaseline and give it a good mix. As soon as they are fused together, you can transfer your homemade chocolate lip balm in an old lip balm container and leave it to set.
With these three simple steps, you can create your favorite flavor of lip balm right in your kitchen. For those rare people who don’t want chocolate lip balm, trying out the same process with different flavored chocolates will give amazing results as well!
